He grew up as the third generation owner of a beauty salon.

Rather than disposing of the beloved rental kimonos that had been cherished since her grandmother's generation because she could no longer use them, she decided to start a remake brand so that they could be worn again by altering their appearance.

With the encouragement of an overseas friend who said, "I like kimonos, but I can't wear them as they are if I buy them, so why don't you try making something out of kimonos?", the company began its activities with an eye on overseas markets.

We are groping around in the dark amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
